We meet over Zoom, or in person (within the Greater Toronto Area) with thoughtful questions and time to follow where a memory leads. You choose what to share, what to skip, and when to pause.

Will a real person conduct my interview?
Yes. You meet with a live interviewer who guides the conversation, listens to your answers, and asks follow-up questions. Interviews are available in person in the Greater Toronto Area or over Zoom.
What do I receive at the end?
You receive a keepsake book of your stories, created from your interview. It’s yours to share with your children, grandchildren, and family, and to pass down to future generations.
Do I need to prepare a whole life story?
No. One memory is a fine beginning. A photograph, an object, or a few names can help, but you don’t need to write anything or put every event in order.
Can I do this for a parent or someone I love?
Yes. You can give a parent or grandparent the experience of telling their story and receiving a keepsake book. Talk with them first about whether they would enjoy it; their comfort and willingness guide the conversation.
What if I’m not comfortable on camera?
Let us know before the conversation so you can discuss an audio-only Zoom interview. If you’re in the Greater Toronto Area, you can also choose to meet in person. Feeling at ease matters more than being on screen.
Will my stories appear on this website?
A recording is not permission to publish. Any use on the website or in promotional material would be discussed separately, and would need your permission.
